Yolanda Vargas Perales Anaya, of San Antonio, passed away on December 7, 2019 at the age of 71 years. She was born August 15, 1948 in Rio Medina, one of eight children of Francisco and Cleofas Colunga Vargas.

Survivors include her husband, Audelio Anaya of Edinburg; daughter, Bernice Perales of San Antonio; sons, Ben Perales of Castroville, Brian Perales and his wife Heather and Audelio Anaya of San Antonio; grandchildren, Cheyenne Authier (Travis) Brandon Perales, Madison Perales, Caleb Perales, Abigail Perales and Ernesto Anaya; brothers, Tony Vargas of San Antonio, Frank Vargas and wife Sylvia of Michigan ; sisters, Gloria Muniz and husband Rene of Castroville, Dolores Fuentes and husband Felix of Castroville and Beatrice Perales and husband Domingo of Castroville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Benito Perales; son, Adam Andrew Castillo; sister, Chella Martinez and her husband Jesus and brother, Guadalupe Vargas .

Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 starting at 6:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, December 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
