William 'Bill' Fritz Nagy of Lytle, passed away on December 11, 2022 at the age of 79. He was born December 19, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Fritz Nagy and Betty Poole Nagy.

Bill retired from the U.S. Army after serving for twenty years and five days. He served during the Vietnam Era. On February 13, 1982, he married Sharon Ann Long at Atonement Lutheran Church in San Antonio.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Nagy of Lytle; daughter, Michelle Nagy of Ft. Worth; stepchildren, Melissa Gomez (Frank) of Castroville and Michelle Rodriguez (Alex) of Castroville; grandchildren, Frank Gomez, Jr., Matthew Rodriguez, William Gomez, Robert Rodriguez, Leia Gomez, and Miranda Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Isabella Rodriguez, Maison Rodriguez, Mikaela Rodriguez, Arya Villarreal, and Ivory Villarreal; and brother, Robert Nagy (Karen).

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Christopher Nagy; and his brother, Frank Nagy.

Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
