Wesley Edward Flores of Castroville, passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 68. He was born December 6, 1954 in Castroville, Texas to the late John Robert Flores and Lucia Rymers.

On March 6, 1975, Wesley married Sara Botello in Castroville, Texas. They were blessed with just shy of forty-eight years of marriage, four children, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Wesley worked as a butcher for Dziuk's Meat Market for forty years before retiring 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Flores of Castroville; children and their spouses, Johnnie and Monica Flores of Castroville, Anthony and Monica Flores of Castroville, Jennifer and Freddie Pardo of Castroville, and Lisa and Ashley Flores of San Antonio; grandchildren, Trey Flores, Tiffany Pardo Parker, John Flores, Gabby Flores, Wesley Pardo, Cristian Flores, Thomas Pardo, Isah'Bella Flores, Grant Flores, Jocelyn Flores, and Alessandra Flores; great-grandchildren, Lane Flores and SJ Parker; mother, Lucia Burell; siblings, William Burell (Ernestine) of Castroville, Freddy Burell of Castroville, Darlene Alonzo (Richard) of La Coste, Lillian Alvizo (Martin) of Castroville, and Rachel Rodriguez (Jesse) of Castroville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Wesley was preceded in death by his fathers, Victor Lee Burell and John R. Flores.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
