Urbano Flores Hinojosa, Jr., passed away at his home in La Coste on May 28, 2021 at the age of 95, just two weeks before his 96 ^th birthday. He was born June 12, 1925 in La Coste, Texas, one of twelve children born to Urbano Cuellar Hinojosa and Hermilla Flores Hinojosa. On April 18, 1958 Urbano married Maria Campos.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Maria Hinojosa of La Coste; children, Urbano C. Hinojosa, III of La Coste and Janie (Guy) Lopez of La Coste; grandchildren, Justin Lopez and Tyler Lopez; great granddaughter, Zoey Evelyn Lopez; sisters, Berta Mata of Crystal City, Gloria Atchinson of Lytle and Olga Lopez of La Coste; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Urbano was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Alyssa Lopez; brothers, Leandro Hinojosa, Hector Hinojosa, Raul Hinojosa, Sr. and Daguberto Hinojosa; sisters, Maria Hernandez, Alicia Padilla, Carmen Pena and Hermilla "Millie" Dowell.

Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas.
