Countless family and friends from South Texas to New York have been devastated by the sudden loss of Tiffany Bernadette Thomas, 23, who tragically lost control of her vehicle on FM 471 North early Monday morning, March 13, 2023, and died in a terrible single-vehicle accident.

Tiffany is survived by her parents, Daniel Thomas and Michele Erickson; siblings, Kalie Powell, Nicollette Klaskala, Michael Thomas, Justin Erickson, and Eric Czechowski; aunts, Deana Prescott, Katie and Bridget Erickson; uncle, Sean Erickson; niece, Akaysha Erickson; and her grandmother, Bernadette Thomas.

Most of Tiffany's young life was spent in her hometown of South Buffalo, New York, where her fortitude and beauty inside and out brought peace and joy to all who knew her. She enjoyed drawing, singing, making others feel better, and was proud to have graduated South Park High School.

She worked as a food server, caregiver, retail cashier and a customer service representative before moving to Hondo for a fresh start. Locally, she worked a few retail positions, a floral warehouse job and most recently began a new promising career with Toyota as a painter.

Tiff was into weird books, scary movies and comedies, a wide variety of music, sweets, crazy t-shirts, and snuggling with her two cats. She was addicted to pleasant fragrances, enamored with all kinds of unusual plants and animals, fascinated by fossils, and excited about gemstones.  Despite being tough as nails, she was loyal, faithful, supportive, and had an amazing heart of gold, a pure soul, and a beautiful spirit that will be sorely missed.

There will be no public services, but additional information is available through Tiffany's social media. Details regarding the official online memorial will be released shortly.
