Theresa Elshire of Castroville, Texas passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, by the side of her loving husband, Ken C. Elshire, at their weekend home in Lake Hills.

Theresa was born August 10th,1952 in New Iberia, Louisiana to Lula Robichaux. She married Ken on October 26th, 1980, beginning a journey together that spanned forty-five years. They were blessed with two daughters, Brandie Hokamp (Eric) and Terri Golla (Michael).

Theresa graduated French High (Beaumont, Texas) in the class of 1970. She later opened Blue Ribbon Housing, a family owned and operated manufactured home dealership, with her husband Ken, where she worked as Vice President for thirty-one years.

She was especially known for her love of Casinos and playing the slots.  She loved her pet chihuahuas (Me-too, Leanne, Sammie, and Chewy) and their absolute love. Her hobbies were crafts, puzzles, and having the best-looking yard, where she enjoyed working and spending time. Theresa even won awards for best landscaping, landing her a spotlight in the newspaper.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ken C. Elshire of Castroville, two daughters, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her four siblings, Lena, Janet, Johnny, and Keith.
