Terry Lynn Evans, 61, passed away on October 23, 2026. Born on February 26, 1965, Terry grew up around Hondo, Texas, and the Medina River, where she developed a love for family, nature, and life’s simple pleasures.

Terry was a kindhearted, caring, and generous soul who loved unconditionally. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and devoted much of her life to lovingly caring for her mother, Eleanora Geiger, with whom she shared a very special bond.

She enjoyed baking, camping, trips to the beach, and spending time with her beloved animals, whom she considered her fur babies. Terry loved a good laugh, joking with others, and never turned down a Diet Soda or a glass of sweet tea.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Eleanora Geiger; and her beloved husband, Tommy Bill Evans, affectionately known as “Scooter.”

She is survived by her brother, Jack Geiger (Sheila); sister-in-law, Joyce Tietze; nieces, Sophia Geiger and Monnie Hightower; nephews, Paul Hare, Troy Tietze, and Jeremy Tietze.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at Devine Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
