Terry Kay Axtell Meier passed away at her home in San Antonio, Texas on July 5, 2021 at the age of 64. She was born October 24, 1956 at Scott A.F.B., Illinois, one of three children born to Gene Stuart Axtell and Ethel Mary Campmire Axtell.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Stacie and Beau Blair of Hondo, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Jackie Meier of Spring Branch, Texas; grandchildren, Shellby Meier, Wesley Meier, Brooks Blair and Case Blair; and her brother, Robert "Bob" Axtell.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Malcolm Meier; and her sister, Linda Axtell.

Terry was a 1973 graduate of John Jay High School in San Antonio. She worked as a secretary at Southwest I.S.D. and Curriculum Coordinator Assistant at Comal I.S.D.

Shortly after graduating from high school, she married Malcolm "Buddy" Charles Meier on August 18, 1973, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Malcolm passed away on August 4, 2009, just two weeks before their thirty-sixth wedding anniversary. Their marriage was blessed with two children and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, preceded by visitation at 9:00 a.m. Private family interment will be held at a later date at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Bulverde, Texas.
