Stephen Burtis Miller, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away September 28, 2026 at the age of 78. He was born December 23, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Urcel Miller and Joanna Burtis Miller.

On September 7, 1974, Stephen married Judith Kay Walker at the Calvary Baptist Church in Beeville, Texas. They were blessed with fifty-two years of marriage and one son.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Miller of San Antonio; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Pamela Miller of San Antonio; grandchildren, Hailey Miller and Logan Miller; and his brother, Gregory Miller.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #4, in San Antonio, Texas.
