Sherry Lynn Koehler Jagge, of Macdona-LaCoste, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2025 at the age of 56. She was born on January 16, 1969 in Castroville, Texas. She was one of three children born to Frederick Julian Koehler and Florence Jean Jonas Koehler.

Sherry was a proud graduate from Southwest High School, Class of 1987. On April 6, 1991, Sherry married Kevin Dale Jagge at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste. She began her professional career at Baptist Hospital System before discovering her calling in water treatment. Sherry dedicated fifteen years to United Water and later joined San Antonio Water System (SAWS) where she served ten years as a Senior Lead Water Operations and Maintenance Tech to treat drinking water. Her work reflected her deep commitment to public health and environmental stewardship. She also enjoyed working alongside her husband and daughter on the family hay farm.

Sherry's kind heart and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-four years, Kevin Jagge of Macdona-LaCoste; their cherished daughter, Katie Lynn Jagge-Reed and son-in-law, Austin Reed of Macdona-LaCoste; mother, Florence Koehler of Macdona; sisters, Pamela Ripps of San Antonio and Rebecca Koehler of Macdona; ten nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, TJ and Sharon Jagge; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Julian Koehler.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
