Our beloved Wife and Mother, Sheila Jonathan Terry Spiess, returned to Our Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the age of 85. Sheila was surrounded by family and prayers as she slipped peacefully away. While we are heartbroken at our loss, we rejoice at her reuniting with her parents George B. Terry and Carolyn Anderson Terry, and her sister Georganne Terry Hitzfeld.

Sheila's journey began on August 22, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, and earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. Sheila married the love of her life, Duane L. Spiess, and was blessed with 66 years of life together, three children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Duane Spiess of Helotes, Texas; son, Mark Spiess (Anne Marie) of Las Cruces, New Mexico; daughter, Coleen Logan (Frank) of Helotes, Texas; son, Matthew Spiess (Tracey) of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, Joshua Spiess of Cloudcroft, New Mexico; granddaughter, Ashley Doll of San Antonio, Texas: grandson, Frank Logan II of Helotes, Texas; grandson, Quentin Logan of Helotes, Texas; great-grandson, Caden Doll of San Antonio, Texas; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service and Interment will be private.
