Sandra Sue Shaffar, of San Antonio, passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 74. She was born June 16, 1947 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Samuel P. Shaffar and Arlene F. Watkins Shaffar.

Sandra was a 1965 graduate of Marshall High School in San Antonio and attended Murray State College in Tishomingo, OK. She worked as a systems analyst for the San Antonio Express-News for twenty years.

Survivors include her brother, Bob Shaffar; niece, Christina Shaffar; nephew, Steven Shaffar.

Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle; her parents; and her brother, Dan Shaffar.

Celebration of Life for Sandra will be held at the First Baptist Church of La Coste on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made in Sandra's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
