Rosa Maria Gomez Morales of Castroville, passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 57. She was born May 17, 1965 in Laredo, Texas to the late Ramon Gomez and Maria del Carmen Cadena Gomez.

In 1984, Rosa graduated from Martin High School in Laredo, Texas. On July 29, 1988, she married Ricardo Morales, Jr. in Laredo. They were blessed with thirty-four years of marriage and two children.

Survivors include her husband, Ricardo Morales, Jr. of Castroville; children, Ricardo Morales III and Priscilla Morales both of Castroville; siblings, Miguel R. Gomez of Castroville, Yolanda Sanchez (Jose) of Castroville, Arturo Gomez of Laredo, Claudia Salazar of Devine, and Melissa Estevis (Jaime) of Laredo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Castroville Community Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
