Rosa Maria Cuellar Mascorro, of Castroville passed away August 29, 2024 at the age of 78. She was born March 23, 1946 in Castroville, Texas to Silverio Cuellar, Sr. and Maria Cruz Aguilera Cuellar.

Survivors include her children, Nannette Escamilla (Jerry F.), Roland Mascorro, Genevieve M. Jimenez (Albert), and Amado Mascorro, Jr. (Angelica Maldonado) all of Castroville; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Silverio Cuellar, Jr., Teodore Cuellar, and Juan Jose Cuellar; sisters Norverta Herrera (Frank) and Enedina Gonzales; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amado "Amos" Hernandez Mascorro, Sr.; brothers, Timotello Cuellar, Sr., Jesus Cuellar, and Luis Cuellar; and sister, Maria "Gloria" Burell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 5:30 p.m. A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
