Raymond Mark Heath­, of Castroville, passed away on April 3, 2022 at the age of 67. He was born February 23, 1955 in Hondo, Texas to Jack Pershing Heath and Elsie Jeannette Scharfenberg Heath.

Raymond graduated from Hondo High School in 1973. He attended the University of Houston where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology. Raymond was a construction manager for Bartlett Cocke General Contractors. He was a past member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC Building Branch). Raymond was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Lutheran Church Council and was a past Boy Scout Leader for Troop #471.

On June 2, 1979, Raymond married Cheryl Lynn Johnson in San Marcos, Texas. They were blessed with forty-two years of marriage, two sons and five grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Heath; sons, David Heath (Bridgette), and Samuel Heath (Amelia); grandchildren, Wesley Heath, Hayley Heath, Raymond T. Heath, Joshua Heath, and Clara Heath; brothers, Craig Heath, and Owen Heath (Janine).

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Elsie Heath.

Visitation will be Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Castroville. A bereavement meal will follow the service at the Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.
