Raul "Chano" Luciano Espino, of La Coste, Texas, passed away September 22, 2025 at the age of 67. He was born January 7, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas, to Gilbert Espino, Sr. and Guadalupe Barrientes Espino.

Chano graduated from Medina Valley High School in 1976. He worked as a farmer in Medina County.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Madrid (James), Christina Espino, Laura Espino, Luis Espino, and Luciano Espino (Katelynn); thirteen grandchildren; sister, Carmen Huron; nieces, Yvette, Rebecca, and Sylvia; and nephew, Gilbert Espino, III.

Chano was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Luis Espino and Gilbert Espino, Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas.
