Phyllis Bernette Jungman Lawrence of San Antonio, passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born October 21, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to Bernard H. Jungman and Cornelia R. Keller Jungman.

Phyllis graduated from H.M. King High School in Kingsville, Texas in 1961. She worked at the Kleberg County Courthouse, where she met her husband, Don Lawrence. They married November 21, 1964, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville. Phyllis and Don enjoyed 52 happy years of marriage before Don's passing on June 16, 2017.

Survivors include her children, Troy Lawrence of San Antonio and Renee Cadena (Dan) of Helotes; grandchildren, Evan Seitz and Austin Seitz; brother, Bernard F. 'B.J' Jungman (Faye) of Rio Medina; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Don Lawrence.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Parish Hall in La Coste, Texas. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste.

Memorials may be made in Phyllis' memory to Abode Contemplative Care of San Antonio where Phyllis was lovingly cared for during her final days.
