Pearl Marie Heslep Wilson, of D'Hanis formerly of Corpus Christi, passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 87. She was born August 1, 1934 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Hugh Heslep and Hilda Miller Heslep.

Pearl grew up Corpus Christi and lived there most of her life. She worked as a bank teller for many years. Pearl was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Calallen, Texas. Three years ago, she moved to Castroville.

Survivors include her children, Gary L. Wilson of D'Hanis, Tim (Mary) Wilson of San Antonio, Rose M. (Joe) Vavricek of D'Hanis, and Shaylene Voigt of Corpus Christi; ten grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Homer Heslep, Robert Heslep, Cynthia Richey, and Kim Heslep.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Heslep and Hilda Heslep Bourland; her husband, Albert H. Wilson; great-grandson, Byron Wilson; her brother, Adryne James (Jim) Heslep; as well as her infant twin sister.

Pearl requested that no services be held. Her family will scatter her ashes at a later date.
