Nieves Reyna Alfaro, Jr., of Natalia, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 16, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born January 13, 1947 in Lytle, Texas to Niebes Castillo Alfaro, Sr. and Maria Rufugia Reyna Alfaro.

He will be greatly missed by all, as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Survivors include his devoted wife of over fifty years, Gloria C. Alfaro; sons, Nieves Alfaro III (Ana), Michael Alfaro; daughters, Jo Morgan and Gloria Alfaro; grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Alfaro, Joshua and Emilee Morgan; brothers, Frank Alfaro (Aurora), Leonard Alfaro (Sandra), James Alfaro (Emma); sister, Mary Roach (Doug); numerous nieces and nephews.

Nieves was preceded in death by his parents, Niebes Alfaro, Sr. and Maria Reyna Alfaro; son-in-law, Shaun Morgan; brothers, Antonio, Anastacio, Julio, Ramon, Ciprano Alfaro; sister, Mary Ann Gomez (Mariano).

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with the Memorial Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 500 5 ^th Street, Natalia, Texas.
