Millard George Schuchart, of Rio Medina (Cliff), passed away at his home on April 11, 2021 at the age of 95. He was born February 22, 1926 in San Antonio to Raymond Schuchart and Edna Frick Schuchart.

Millard graduated from Jefferson High School at the age of sixteen. He then went on to earn a four-year degree from Texas A&M. After graduation, he was commissioned to 1 ^st Lt. of the U.S. Army. He served in Germany for two years where he made Captain. He worked civil service for forty years.

On June 15, 1952, Millard married Inell Beck. They were blessed with sixty-eight years of marriage, two children, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Millard was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Lions Club, Catholic Life, Hermann Sons and the American Legion Weiss-Wurzbach Post 460.

Survivors include his wife, Inell Schuchart; daughter, Pam Schuchart Ritch (Don); son, Daryl Schuchart (Kim); grandsons, Greg Sterner (Amy) and Troy Sterner; granddaughters, Tracy Hilbert (Brian), Heidi Tondre (Barrett); six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Millard was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Edna Schuchart; brother, Vernon Schuchart (Doris); and sister, Dr. Faye Wurzbach (Clarence).

Public Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Castroville. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
