Mellonie Mary Lindbloom FitzSimon Ketcham, of Castroville, Texas passed away July 1, 2024 at the age of 68. She was born January 27, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas to C.D. Murray and Inez "Dolly" Keller Murray.

Mellonie attended St. Martin's Hall and Providence High School. She was a member of the St. Ann's Altar Society and was active with the parish festival at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste.

Survivors include her children, Stephanie Manning (Ronnie) of Eagle Pass, Michelle 'Shelly' Smith (Clint) of Castroville, and Matthew Cavin (Naomi) of San Antonio; grandchildren, Erik Henk, Lauren "Sissy" Henk Bethune, Beau Manning, Emily Manning, Dawson Smith, Owen Smith, Lane Smith, Luke Smith, Thomas Lund, and Oliver Cavin.

Mellonie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John David 'Johnny' FitzSimon and Max Lee Ketcham, Jr.; and her son, Brian Cavin.

Visitation will be Monday, August 5, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II in San Antonio, Texas.
