Marlene Gohlke Dunkin, of Pearsall passed away January 18, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born July 7, 1933 in Yorktown, Texas to Roland Gohlke and Elizabeth Alves Gohlke.

Survivors include her daughters, Marlinda Hengst (Gary) of Castroville and Drenda Chavarria of Del Rio; son, Jackie B. Dunkin, Jr. of Pearsall; granddaughters, Nicole Levrie (Jonathon) and Emma Hengst; great-grandsons, Greyson Levrie and Kolson Levrie.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jackie B. Dunkin; and sisters, Amlyn Hrncir (Paul) and Elaine Arnecke (Gene).

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the First Baptist Church, 204 S. Walnut St., Pearsall, Texas 78061. Inurnment will follow at Brummett Cemetery in Big Foot, Texas.
