Mario Ybarra, of Castroville, passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 48. He was born September 13, 1972 in Hondo, Texas to Joe Estrada Ybarra and Maria De Socorro Garcia Ybarra.

Survivors include his son, Mario "Tony" Ybarra of Hondo; daughters, Gloria Renee Ybarra and Diana Ybarra, both of Castroville; father, Joe E. Ybarra of La Coste; brothers Joe E. Ybarra, Jr. of Castroville, Antonio Fuentes of San Antonio; sister, Veronica Morales of San Antonio; aunt/sister, Rita C. Perales of Castroville and numerous cousins.

Mario was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Ybarra and grandmother Guadalupe Botello.

Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 5:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
