Maria De Los Angeles Rodriguez Esquivel, 86 of San Antonio, passed away on May 22, 2023. She was born August 3, 1936 in Sabinas, Coahulia, Mexico to the late Patricio Rodriguez and Juanita Guerra Rodriguez.

On May 6, 1951, Maria married Ysidro Alvarado Esquibel in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico. They were blessed with seventy-one years of marriage and three children.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Arnulfo and Margarita Esquivel, Bernardino 'Ben' Esquibel and Adela Frias, and Evelyn and Eddie Alonzo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ysidro Esquibel; her brothers, Erlin Rodriguez and Evarista Rodriguez; and her sister, Anita Aldaco.

Visitation will be Monday, May 29, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas.
