Lyle William Haby, of Rio Medina, passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 65 years. He was born June 25, 1955 in Castroville, Texas to Quintin Leopold Haby and Ellen Marie Bohl Haby.

Lyle graduated from Medina Valley HS in 1973. He was a farmer and rancher his whole life. He worked at Rio Vista Farms until 1987 and then worked at RJ Mangold Grain Company for thirty years. He also enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Medina Valley Trophy Hunter's Club. Lyle enjoyed watching his great-nieces and nephew showing steers he raised on the family farm. He also enjoyed going to tractor pulls to watch his great-nephew.

Survivors include his sister, Janell Huckle (Harold "Buddy") of Rio Medina; nieces, Lanell Pfeiffer (Travis) of Boerne, Janet Huckle (Joe Martinez) of Natalia; great-nephew, Clayton Pfeiffer; great-nieces, Kendra Pfeiffer and Kelsey Pfeiffer.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Quintin and Ellen Haby.

Public Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Rosary and Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
