Luciano H. Mascorro, of Somerset, passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 82. He was born January 8, 1940 in Castroville, Texas to Florencio Mascorro and Herminia Hernandez Mascorro.

Survivors include his wife, Adela Mascorro; children, Leonor M. Rymers (John Hurtado), Herminia Mascorro (Jesse Soto), David Mascorro (Joyce Felan), Steve Mascorro, Julie Cervantes (Roxie Sanchez), Maricela Mascorro, Rosemary Mascorro, Luciano Mascorro, Jr., Carlos Mascorro, and Esther Mascorro; daughter-in-law, Blanca Mascorro; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Florencio Mascorro (Amelia).

Luciano was preceded in death by his parents; son, Oscar Mascorro; brothers, Geraldo Mascorro, Amado H. Mascorro, Sr., and Julian H. Mascorro.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Castroville Community Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
