Leonard Paul Seay, of La Coste, Texas, passed away July 28, 2026 at the age of 71. He was born July 6, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas, to Henry Allen Seay, Sr. and Juanita Marie Sanders Seay.

In 1973, Leonard graduated from Medina Valley High School. He entered the United States Air Force out of high school and served for four years. On July 17, 1976, Leonard married Denise Ruth Reid at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. They were blessed with fifty years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Seay of La Coste; his children, Todd Seay (Donnitta) of Castroville, Amanda Machen (Shane) of Hondo, Cody Seay (Catherine) of New Braunfels, and Donald Larry Bowles (Roxanne) of Waco; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry Allen Seay, Jr. (Laury) of La Coste and Charles W. Seay of San Antonio.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marshall M. Seay (Elizabeth); and sisters-in-law, Faye Seay and Debra Seay.

A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm. on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the La Coste VFW Hall.
