Lazaro "Larry" Solis, of Castroville, passed away in Castroville on June 22, 2021 at the age of 66. He was born February 18, 1955 in Castroville, Texas to Jesus "Jessie" Soliz, Jr. and Elisa Rymers Soliz.

Survivors include his daughters, Rebecca Solis, Elisa Solis Ramirez, Genevie Solis; son, Gregory Solis; grandchildren, Kayla Holloway, Jacob Hilt, Nicholas Ramirez, Alyssa Ashenbeck, Cheyanne Holloway, Xavier Ramirez, Adriana Holloway, Jordan Ashenbeck and Dylan Ashenbeck; great-grandchildren, Teairra Garza, Leira Garza, and James Cantu; siblings, Adela Weber, Anita Phillippe, Jerry Solis, Catherine Herrera, Robert Solis, Leonard Solis, Betty Velasquez, Patricia Solis and Randy Solis.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Elisa Soliz; wife, Gloria Solis; brothers, Santiago "Jimmy" Solis, Ernesto Solis and infant brother, Neto Solis.

Visitation will be Monday, July 5, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
