Larry Ray Tschirhart, of Castroville, Texas passed away in San Antonio on December 21, 2023 at the age of 61. He was born September 14, 1962 in Castroville, Texas, one of twins born to Omer John Tschirhart and Bonnie Nell Gerloff Tschirhart.

Larry graduated from Medina Valley High School in 1981. He did his apprenticeship at Jesse and Chandler Electric and became a licensed master electrician. Larry was an electrician for over forty years and owned and operated his own business, Tschirhart Electric.

Larry loved his job as an electrician and his favorite activity, hunting. Everyone knew he would be at his "little slice of heaven", his ranch, during hunting season and he did not want to be disturbed! He first spent hunting seasons with his father and uncle Elroy at their hunting camp. After his father and uncle could no longer accompany him, he enjoyed having his friends hunt and spend time with him there.

Survivors include his twin sister, Sherry Kay Tschirhart of Castroville; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ray Jagge of Castroville; daughter, Atalie Tschirhart of San Antonio; nephew, Christopher Jagge (Jenny) of Somerville; nieces, Stephanie Frayre (Carlos) of Castroville, and Emily Burges (Lt. Col. Jeff Burges, U.S. Army) of  Beratzhausen, Germany; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlyn Burges, David Burges, Caroline Burges, Stephen Jagge, Presley Frayre, and Carter Frayre; uncles, Elroy Tschirhart (Gail) of San Antonio and Douglas Gerloff of Castroville; numerous other relatives and many friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and other relatives.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary and Eulogy at 5:00 p.m. Private Family Inurnment will be at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas at a later date.

Memorials may be made in Larry's memory to St. Louis Catholic School or to the charity of your choice.
