Lahoma Estelle Warnke McDaniel of Castroville, passed away on June 22, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born February 10, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to Oscar Warnke and Clara Duncker Warnke.

Lahoma graduated from Jefferson High School. She retired from Southwest Research, where she worked as an information clerk.

Survivors include her brother, Jimmie "Jim" Warnke of La Coste; nieces, Cindie Saathoff of Quihi, Sherril Welch (Rodger) of Quihi; nephew, Carl Warnke (Paula) of Bulverde; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Lahoma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glynn McDaniel; brother, Donald Warnke; sister-in-law, Sandra Warnke; nephew-in-law, Bruce Saathoff.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 the Zion Lutheran Church in Castroville. Services will conclude at the church.

Memorials may be made in Lahoma's memory to Zion Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
