Karen Marie Jungman Geiger, age 87, passed away on January 13, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas. Karen was born on November 3, 1938 in LaCoste, TX, to the late Herman N. Jungman and Myrtle Hitzfelder Jungman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Geiger; her brother, Hal Jungman; and her daughter-in-law, Dorothy "Dottie" Geiger.

Karen graduated from LaCoste High School. On August 22, 1959, she married William Albert 'Bill' Geiger at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste. They were blessed with fifty-six years of marriage and three children.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Parma and her husband Chris, of New Braunfels, TX; daughter, Jeanne Geiger of San Antonio, TX; and son, Kevin Geiger of Houston, TX. Grandchildren include Joie, Chloe, and Andrew. Karen is also survived by her sister-in-law, Martha Jungman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in LaCoste, Texas.
