Joshua Matthew Munoz, of Castroville, passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 20. He was born September 29, 2003 in Alice, Texas to Victor Manuel Munoz, Jr. and Yesenia Quinones.

Joshua graduated from Medina Valley High School in 2022. He was working as a plumber's assistant and planned to become a master plumber.

Survivors include his parents, Fabian and Yesenia Perez of Castroville; siblings, Ysabella Perez, Jonathan Perez, and Nicholas Perez; grandparents, Robert and Maria Quinones of San Antonio and Belinda Munoz of Alice; uncle, Robert Quinones of San Antonio; aunts, Melissa Rodriguez (Rodrigo) of San Antonio and Vanessa Godines (Jesse) of Alice; as well as numerous cousins and other relatives.

Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Victor M. Munoz, Jr. and his grandfather, Victor M. Munoz, Sr.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
