Jose "Joe" Pangelinan Iglesias, of San Antonio, passed away at his home on March 10, 2021 at the age of 88 years. He was born May 19, 1932 in Agana, Guam, one of five children born to Manuel Castro Iglesias and Rosario Benavente Pangelinan Iglesias.

Survivors include his children, Joyce (Joachim) Sewald of Germany, Noriko (Cencio) Vy of Guam, Kent (Therese) Iglesias of San Antonio and Johnny Iglesias of Guam; grandchildren, Mayumi Remis, Rie Lapitan, Hardy Vy, Cefani Vy, Joseph Iglesias and Jonathan Iglesias; great-grandchildren, Daniel Lapitan, Theodore Vy, Lily Vy, Joel Cardenas, Jonathan Iglesias, Leila Iglesias and Joshua Iglesias; sister, Angie Moxley of San Antonio.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Rosario Iglesias; wife, Kyoko Iglesias; grandson, Mikkel Vy; brothers, Edward Iglesias, Ken Iglesias and William Iglesias.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas at a later date.
