We celebrate the beautiful life of our dear sister Jimmie Louise Tynes Nentwich of Columbus, Texas who passed away peacefully at her home, on July 9, 2026 at the age of 67, with her loving husband Edward by her side. She was born April 17, 1959 in Houston, Texas to James Ross (Jimmie) Tynes, Jr. and Martha Louise Alexander Tynes.

Jimmie had a rich life including crocheting, sewing, crafting, cooking, gardening, and canning her produce to share with her family. She crocheted many beautiful and treasured baby blankets and afghans for her extended family and friends. Jimmie always wanted a large family and when she met Edward, she got her wish.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Charles Nentwich of Columbus; chosen sisters, Ida Tyler and Betty Gast; sister, Linda; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosetta Busby, Bernard Nentwich, Paul and Linda Nentwich, Marian and Dennis Burrell, Leon Nentwich, Roy and Barbra Nentwich, Agnes and David Bailey, and Helen Craig; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmie was a treasured member of the family, touching our hearts in countless ways, and will be dearly missed.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Herman Charles (Bud) Allbright; and sister Suzie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Walter Nentwich, Larry Busby, Sherrill Nentwich, Pat Nentwich, and Charles Craig.

Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Cemetery.
