Jesusa Gonzalez Perez of San Antonio, passed away on June 12, 2022 at the age of 78. She was born July 30, 1943 in Brownsville, Texas to Jesus Gonzalez and Librada Tovar Gonzalez.

Jesusa graduated from Corpus Christi Miller High School and attended Del Mar College. She worked as a secretary for a County Judge in Nueces County as well as a payroll clerk for Sprague Electric.

On July 8, 1963, Jesusa married Marcelo Perez, Jr. in Corpus Christi, Texas. They were blessed with fifty-seven years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2020.

Survivors include her children, Marcelo Perez III (Johnnie Renee) of Austin, Nancy Perez (Abel) of San Antonio, Patricia Ramos (John) of San Antonio, David Perez (Lexi) of San Antonio, and Paul Henry Perez (Viviana) of San Antonio; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Julia Garcia, Simon Gonzalez (Wanda), Mary Llanes (Nick), Lupita Rodriguez (Juan), Danny Gonzalez, and Diane Lozano (James).

Jesusa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcelo Perez, Jr., and her daughter, Jennifer Perez.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville.
