Jesus Cuellar, of Hondo, passed away at his home on June 27, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born May 17, 1952 in Castroville, Texas to Silverio Cuellar, Sr. and Maria Cruz Aguilera Cuellar.

Survivors include his children, Jose Avila, Viviana Cuellar, Susana Cuellar, Adriana Palomo (Felix, Jr.), Kassidy Martin; grandchildren, Ahlaynah Tapia, Trystan Cuellar, Elijah Palomo, Eliana Palomo, Liliana Palomo, Jazzlyn Guzman, Felix Palomo III, Zabian Guzman, and Tobias Gonzales; brothers, Luis Cuellar, Silverio Cuellar, Jr., Teodore Cuellar, Johnny Joe Cuellar; sisters, Rose Mary Mascorro (Amos), Norverta Herrera (Frank), Enedina Gonzales; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Silverio Sr. and Maria Cuellar; wife, Antonia Silva Cuellar; brother, Timotello Cuellar, Sr. and his sister, Maria Gloria Cuellar Burell.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
