In Loving Memory of James Dean Jaks

Dean, a man of unwavering strength, boundless love, and quiet resilience, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025 at the age of 59. He was a pillar of support to all who knew him, a devoted husband, father, friend and a source of wisdom and kindness in every aspect of his life.

Born on February 1, 1966 in Hondo, TX Dean lived his life with integrity, generosity, and an unshakable commitment to those he loved. Whether through his hard work, his steady guidance, or his sense of humor, he touched countless lives and left a legacy of warmth and strength.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, Janelle (Michael), Dillon, and Justin; and his grandchildren, Rayden, Levi, and Parker. He also leaves behind his mother, Bonnie, and grandmother, Idabell Farr. They will forever carry his love and lessons in their hearts. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the countless memories he created and the lives he shaped.

A celebration of Dean's life will be held at 3:00pm on March 1, 2025 at the Haby Settlement House in Rio Medina.

Rest easy, Dean. Your strength, love, and kindness will never be forgotten.
