Isabel Rose Belliveau-Bowie, of Hondo, passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 57. She was born December 28, 1963 in Wareham, Massachusetts to Ronald H. Belliveau and Rosa Yanez Belliveau.

Isabel graduated from John Jay High School in 1982. She had the privilege of being a Junior Rodeo Queen. After high school, she attended Cosmetology School to earn her cosmetology license and began working as a beautician. Isabel also earned a Theological Seminary Associates Degree from the Sure Foundation in Florida.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Helotes Lodge Ada Chapter and was also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Choir.

Survivors include her husband, Wes Bowie of Hondo; mother, Rosa Y. Belliveau of San Antonio; children, Joshua Gustamente of Richardson, Texas, Jeremy Gustamente (Ashley) of San Antonio, Tiffany Gustamente of San Antonio and Jacob Gustamente of Grand Junction, Colorado; stepchildren, Wesley Bowie, Jr. (Emily) of Devine, Cody Bowie (Samantha) of Kerrville and Amber Bowie of Hondo; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Rhonda B. Martinez of San Antonio and Belinda B. Cisneros (Richard) of San Antonio as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Isabel was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Belliveau, and her brother-in-law, Marcos E. Martinez, Sr.

Due to inclement weather on, Thursday, February. 18th, the funeral service for Isabel has been rescheduled for Monday, March 1st at 3 pm.
