Ira Joe Welch, 71 of Castroville, passed away on April 28, 2023. He was born August 7, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas .

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jacquelyn Welch; children and their spouses, Jo Michele Pierson, Melisa Jo and Thomas Marcum, Krystal Welch, Patrick Welch, and Brenda Welch; grandchildren, Karys Marcum, Ryan Marcum, Hailey Yarbrough, Kris Yarbrough, and Emma Lopez-Welch; siblings, Del (Sharron) Welch, Paul (Marcy) Welch, and Larry (Darla) Welch.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Delmor C. Welch, Sr. and Jessie E. Ferguson Welch; his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Welch; and his sisters, Sandra Nell Cook and J. Juanita Welch.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with a Memorial Service with Military Honors at 11:00 a.m. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
