Helen Marie Clark Martin of San Antonio was born on April 5, 1946, in Brownsville, Texas, to Edwin D. and Dorothy Street Clark. She passed away on July 3, 2024.

She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Ronald B. Martin of San Antonio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, R. Keith and Tracie Martin of San Antonio; and several cousins. She also is survived by very special friends, Marsha Seale and Pieter Visser of Houston.

A graduate of Trinity University, Helen was a research associate at the University of Texas Health Science Center and later at Southwest Research Institute. She was a founding member of the Texas Bach Choir, sang, and served on its Board of Directors for several years. She loved music, travel, genealogy, her friends, and her pets. She will be missed.

No formal services are scheduled. Her cremains will be interred at the Lytle Masonic Cemetery in Lytle, Texas. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
