Heather Gayle Dooley Mascorro, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away September 17, 2026 at the age of 61. She was born November 1, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas, to Sherman Dooley and Doreen Aspinall Dooley.

On September 11, 1982, Heather married Jesus Raul Mascorro at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. They were blessed with forty-four years of marriage and two children.

Survivors include her husband, Jesus Mascorro of San Antonio; daughter, Melissa Mascorro (Herman Ortiz) of Natalia; son, Joshua Mascorro (Lyzette) San Antonio; grandchildren, Audria Morales, Anthony Cardenas, Arya Mascorro, Lyvia Ortiz, Noah Ortiz, and Jaxon Mascorro; brothers, Michael Dooley and Paul Dooley.

Heather was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Jacqueline Dooley.

A strong soul, a beautiful heart, and a spirit that never gave up. Though she may be gone from our sight, her love, her strength, and the memories she gave us will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2026 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Memorial Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
