Harry E. Vowell, Sr. passed away on November 25, 2023 in Castroville at the age of 94. He was born on May 15, 1929 in Briceville, TN to the late William Henry Vowell and Texie Ann Vowell.

Harry and his wife Barbara wed in March 1953 and were blessed with 70 years of marriage, three children, and one grandchild. He was a U.S. Air Force career military veteran and proudly served his country for decades before retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Vowell; son, Harry E. Vowell, Jr., daughter, Veronica Vowell Burger; son-in-law, Michael Burger; son, Gregory Vowell; and grandson, Joseph Vowell.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Lou Grant and Della Mae Daugherty; and brother, Billy Ray Vowell.

In lieu of services, his family will privately honor his memory as the loving husband, father, and grandfather he was throughout his lifetime.
