Harold W. Stein, Sr. passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the age of 93. Born in Castroville, Texas on October 14, 1931, he grew up on the family farm in Rio Medina. Harold attended and graduated in 1949 from St. Louis Catholic School. He served in the Navy during the Korean crisis and was honorably discharged in 1954. He received a degree in Business from St. Mary's University and his CPA certification while working in Finance for Kelly AFB and retired from the Federal Government in 1986.

Harold is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Patricia; his seven children, Harold Jr. (Tina), Kevon (Rhonda), Kerry (Angela), Keith Sr. (Joanna), Ken (Ken), Kimberly White (Pete) and Kyle (Jenny); seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. He is also survived by four siblings, Eileen Koerlin, Alfred J. (Arline), Alfrene Tschirhart and Glennis; sister-in-law, Marilyn, and many nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by parents Alfred Sr. and Elvie; brothers, Harvey, Allen, and Sylvan, and sisters-in-law, Gladys and Janie.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2025, at St. Luke Catholic Church in San Antonio with the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors at 1:15 p.m.
