Guadalupe M. Espino, of Hondo passed away December 16, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born December 15, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to Manuel Antonio Espino and Maria Mata Espino.

On August 30, 1983, Guadalupe married Juanita Dominguez in San Antonio. They were blessed with forty-one years of marriage and two sons. Guadalupe was a farmer and rancher in San Antonio until a few years ago when he and his wife moved to Hondo, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Espino; sons, Eduardo Espino and Estevan Espino all of Hondo; sisters, Ramona Diaz of San Antonio and Graciela Barron of San Antonio.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gilberto Espino, Luciano Espino, Robert Espino, Manuel Espino, Jr., Antonio Espino, and Concepcion Espino; and sister, Eliza Tapia.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. Interment will follow at the Hondo Cemetery in Hondo, Texas.
