Obituary

Gregory Jess Atoigue Maratita, affectionately known as Gregory Jess/Jessy, Gregory Boy, Gregorio, Geggy, Boogish, and My Baby.

Gregory Jess was called home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 30. Though doctors once said his time with us would be brief, God had other plans. For three decades, we were graced with Gregory's presence-a true blessing and testament to faith, love, and perseverance. His life was a gift, and his spirit a light to all who knew him. We give thanks to God for the precious years we shared with him and find comfort in knowing he now rests in eternal peace.

He is preceded in death by and has joined his pateral grandparents, Buenaventura Quichocho and Maria Cepeda Taijeron Maratita; maternal grandparents, Tomas Mafnas and Engracia Taimanglo Atoigue; godparents, Tomas and Brigida Atoigue; paternal aunt, Rebecca Maratita Smith; maternal uncles and aunts, Pedro Atoigue, Pedro Castro, Rosa and Juan Reyes, Matilda and Jesus Charfauros, Juan and Maria Cruz, Juan and Anita Atoigue, Francisco and Lou Atoigue, Barbara Ann Atoigue, Lawrence Atoigue, Anita P. Atoigue; cousins: Desiree Bonds, Kevin Smith, Joey Panaguitton, Anita Reyes, Pedro Atoigue Jr.; nephews: Gregory "G-Man" Rodriguez and Clifford Cruz.

He is survived and missed dearly by his parents, Gregory Jess Taijeron and Avelina Taimanglo Atoigue Maratita; siblings and their spouses (nieces and nephews), Allan and Melissa Laitan (Sky and Tessa), Ashley Laitan (Javier, Chloe, Vicente, Aliana, and Ariah), Lianna and Francis Santos (Seth), Genna and Johnathan Robinson (Khaliya, Kehlani, Anylah, and Jordyn), and Michael Maratita. Gregory Jess will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
