Geneva Velasquez Hartweck, of Castroville, passed away at her home on September 29, 2021 at the age of 65. She was born April 17, 1956 in Pearsall, Texas. She was the ninth of ten children born to Jesus and Alberta Garcia Velasquez.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years, Timothy Hartweck; children, Joe Elizondo, Richard Elizondo, Jennifer Pacheco, Angela Hartweck, Terry Hartweck, Aaron Hartweck; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Geneva's memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
