Florence Sachtleben Hoffmann, of Rio Medina, Texas passed away January 24, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born August 3, 1928 in Blanco County, Texas to August Walter Sachtleben and Elva Leona Zumwalt Sachtleben.

Florence graduated from Jefferson High School in 1946. On April 30, 1947, she married Johnny Joseph Hoffmann at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas. For sixteen years, Florence worked at Haby's Bakery as a baker and cake decorator. She was a quilter and enjoyed creating many beautiful quilts.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Scarlett Anne and Carroll Keller of Rio Medina and Elizabeth "Betsy" and Paul Martin of Seguin; son and daughter-in-law, John Walter and Birdie Hoffmann of Junction; son-in-law, Karl Kennedy; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Hoffmann; daughter, Barbara Kennedy; grandson, John Robert Hoffmann; and brother Oscar James Sachtleben.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Services will conclude with a bereavement meal at the Braden Keller Center.

Memorials may be made in Florence's memory to the St. Louis Catholic School or to the charity of your choice.
