Felipa Valenzuela Alcorta, of Lytle, passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 64. She was born May 24, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas to Feliciano Jimenez Valenzuela and Manuela Herrera Valenzuela.

On December 29, 1972, Felipa married Henry C. Alcorta in San Antonio, Texas. They were blessed with close to forty-nine years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Alcorta, Sr. of Lytle; son, Henry Alcorta, Jr. (Yvette) of Devine; daughter, Diane Solis (Arturo) of Natalia; grandchildren, Carlos Aguayo, Jr., Fabian Aguayo, Andrea Aguayo, Alexandra Solis, Henry Alcorta III, Anna Alcorta, and Enrique Alcorta; great-granddaughter, Camila Elena Aguayo; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

Felipa was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Baby Angel Solis; and her sister, Alma Herlinda Valenzuela.

Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
