Eva Cadena, of La Coste, passed away on January 19, 2021 in San Antonio at the age of 68 years. She was born February 28, 1952 in Castroville, one of seven children born to Jesus H. Cadena and Socorro Tapia Cadena.

Survivors include her mother, Socorro Tapia Cadena; sister, Elvira Cadena Prado of San Antonio; brothers, Jesus "Jessie" (Mary Lou) Cadena, Jr., Jose "Joe" (Irma) Cadena and Thomas (Vickie) Cadena; sister-in-law, Nora Cadena and Yolanda Cadena; one niece; several nephews and other relatives.

Eva was preceded in death by her father, Jesus H. Cadena; brother, Henry Cadena and infant brother, Eliseo Cadena.

The Rosary and Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste.

Please Note ; the number of people allowed in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is limited. Face coverings are required and social distancing shall be practiced. For everyone's safety the family request that no physical contact (hugs) be offered.
