Ervin Andrew Tondre, Jr, of Castroville, passed away at his home on March 18, 2021 at the age of 82. He was born June 4, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Ervin Andrew Tondre, Sr. and Ruie Yates Tondre.

Ervin graduated from St. Louis High School in 1957. Shortly after graduating, he was drafted to serve in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After serving in the military, Ervin became a talented chef, working in various venues. Before retiring, his latest venture was preparing meals for numerous individuals in Castroville and personally delivering the freshly made meals to them.

Survivors include his sisters, Maxine Rose Tondre of Castroville and Ernestine Burell (Bill) of Castroville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
